I believe that the UN must fulfill three major roles. The first role is to promote peace and stability in the world. The UN should take the initiative in conflict resolution. The second role is to ensure the protection and promotion of human rights. The UN should protect people from enslavement and genocide and promote education and freedom of speech. Its third role is to promote sustainable development in the world. As an authoritative advocate for global environmental protection, the UN should play a leadership role in preserving the natural environment by promoting public awareness of the dangers of environmental degradation.
